Rozen Maiden

The Japanese anime and manga Rozen Maiden Traumend follows the adventures of a boy, (who is out of school because of the stress it caused him), and his Rozen Maiden dolls, who are all embroiled in the "Alice" game whereby one of them must become the ultimate doll in order to please their original maker.
